Some are spammy in nature, and others selling the same thing seem quite friendly. Each definitely has it's own following. And in this world one doesn't want to make any enemies. Now you might despise one of these sites and their marketing tactics, but someday if you have an eBook to sell - their 5,000 person targeted list might look pretty lucrative for a Joint Venture (JV)!
